Create a piece of pottery of your choice and decorate it however you like and the kind people at Chocolat Royale will bake it for you and you can take it home as a souvenir. A cute first date idea would be to make something for the each other to take home as a momento of your time together.

 

Lekki Conservation Centre

Lekki Conservation Centre is probably one of Lagos' best hidden gems. Tucked away just off the Lekki-Epe expressway, this is one of the largest conservation areas in Lagos and is home to a variety of animals including monkeys and throw in the odd crocodile or two. If you want to experience plants and animals in their natural habitat, then this place is a must visit for that special date. The NCF was set aside to sustain the natural habitation of plants, and animals as urbanisation began leading to the intrusion of areas meant for them. This meant that in a city like Lagos which is fast becoming a bonafide urban jungle, we can enjoy a slice of wildlife. Take along a guide and tell your date about the types of plants and animals as you stroll along. If that doesn't impress them then what will?!

You don't have to know anything about art, you simply have to tell each other what you see and how it makes you feel.
